One of the changed stats this week however, is the listings that went conditional pending, showing that buyers right now are still ready to pounce on listings regardless of the time of year or climate. Values still remain strong and elevated from last year, and listings are generally spending much less time on the market comparably, but that's a no brainer given the 2019 market year. There was a slight gain in the overall inventory, but that is quite common for this time of year. Usually, January sees a surge in activity up until snow takes the wind out of buyers and sellers sails, but since the wInter this year has hit us a bit earlier than usual, most people keep on trucking through the inconvenience of a little snow. That should say something about the market though. If people are already out in droves in this weather, imagine what things will be like when it's nice out? I've heard rumblings of multiple offers already, which is not surprising given how low the inventory is and the general buyer interest remains.
