Interesting enough, there wasn't a ton of weekly sales to chip away at the inventory, but the culprit for the change is buyer activity, which reported the highest it has been this year so far as well! Not surprised that buyer activity is elevated this week, we finally have some decent weather and there are property options out there to look at as well! We are still seeing competitive situations for turn-key property, especially anything listed under $600k, but there does seem to be some padding in the $800k+ brackets. Prices reported high this week, which could come from the buyer demand, and six month median prices for single family homes jumped again this week, increasing 10k in a short 4 week timespan. Prices and demand are on the rise, but is this a seasonal trend issue which will cool in the coming weeks, or are buyers edging a bit more pressure to the market before things change and competition becomes more fierce?
