So what is with the inventory reduction? Well, we had the largest amount of listings that cancelled, withdrew, or expired so far this year, and we are still seeing positive buyer activity, which is chipping away at what little inventory we have to assist with the reduction. Prices have started to slip here and there, and we may have finally seen the cooling of the surging value trajectory, for now at least. This time of year does tend to be a bit more sleepy than other seasons, possibly due to the awesome weather and folks taking a break from their search, but the market persists. It's a mixed bag as we head into the peak of Summer, so you can expect for things to taper offer for the next few weeks, and then pick up right before the "back to school" effort.
