Gains in all inventory levels, and marginal sales kept the sales to list ratio in the mid thirty's, a fair shade difference from last years performance. Average days on market are still lingering around the three month range, which is hit or miss depending on which way these listings are leaving the market. The monthly wrap up is coming! Please hold on fellow readers. As you can see, we are missing the absorption rate statistic this week. There seems to be an error of reporting from the source, and I am working diligently to resolve this issue. Trust that the blog is working hard to rectify this anomaly, and will return to full strength when the issue has been resolved. Thanks for your patience. NOTABLE NEWS Ever wondered about Radon gas in your home?? Chances are you haven't, but it is a emerging field of concern, and one that we Haligonian's must consider when buying a home. This article explains a bit more in detail about the overall picture, and what you should know before submitting that offer. The minister responsible for government buildings says he’s close to making a decision on the future of the historic Dennis Building says this article. WEEKLY ADOGTABLE DeeDee is a 3 year old, 35lb Boston Terrier/ Pit mix looking for her forever home. She is a very smart girl who is picking up on her training very quickly. DeeDee has an ample amount of energy, as the Boston Terrier breed always always does, so children over 10 would be ideal as she jumps up from time to time. Although DeeDee is dog friendly, her energy can be very off-putting for most dogs, which often results in a scuffle. Perhaps DeeDee would like to have a running partner to help curb her enthusiasm? Either way, plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation will be essential to help DeeDee be a calm girl. Cats are unknown at this time. DeeDee is house trained, kennel trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. To adopt DeeDee, contact Buddy's Bully Rescue This "loving lady" is available through Buddy's Bully Rescue, a non profit rescue organization from Halifax, Nova Scotia. More info about her, other adoptable's looking for their furever home, and ways to help or donate can be found by clicking HERE. ![]() VIEWPOINT REALTY Are you familiar with ViewPoint Realty? Looking over the numbers for this reporting week I notice that it is the first time I have seen the number of new listings and the number of sold houses actually being more positive than the previous year. Maybe it is the beginning of a start. Comments are closed.
