Marginal gains, solid sales numbers, increasing inventory, things you would expect to see as we approach the mid point of May. Sales made a slight comeback this week, as well as inventory across the board. All product types experienced increase, with single family home numbers jumping the most. Values remain steady as well, with a strong showing this week compared to the last few weeks, and the general annual increase overall as expected. Average days on market reported down this week compared to the last few weeks, and down from this time last year as well. Overall, it's an "ebb and flow" type of market; as things decide to recess a bit, add a little time and they surge right back again. I think we are just at the turn around point currently, but it might be too early to tell. Let's see what next week brings, and see where it goes from there. You'll have to stay tuned to find out! Thanks for stopping by! The Weekly Adogtable!Amelia is a young, outgoing gal who still has a lot of puppy left in her! She is always ready for an adventure and loves to play with toys. It doesn't take long for her to warm up to new people. She can be quite the cuddler too once she gets to know you! Because she is still a puppy at heart, Amelia has some special requirements. She gets very excited and can be a little jumpy when she greets you, so she needs a family that can help her with her obedience training. This gal can JUMP so she cannot be left alone in a backyard unless the fencing is high enough. She gets along with large dogs but NO small dogs, cats or other small animals. Amelia is currently in heat and will have to return for her spay in roughly 6 weeks. Amelia's ideal home would be: - With an active family - With children over the age of 10 - Without any small animals - No apartments Obedience training is mandatory. Proof of registration in an obedience class will need to be provided upon approval. This "cuddly companion" is available through Homeward Bound City Pound, a non profit rescue organization from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
